Dear Students, warm Greetings from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of Government Polytechnic Kangra. This Department was established in year 1992. Electronics & Communication Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineeringdisciplines, its principles are involved in the design, development of Electronic Devices and Systems. The Department has well-established PLC & Advance Communication Lab, Audio Video Engg. Lab,Communication Engg. Lab., Network Filter & Transmission Line (NFTL) & EIM Lab, Electronic Devices & Circuits Lab and Electronic Workshop. Various activities are organized to develop soft skills of the students such as Industrial Visits, Expert Lectures, seminars, group discussions etc. Electronics&Communication Engineers works the basic principles of semiconductor electronics to design different products. Today’s Electronics and Communication Engineers also work on Telecommunication, Switching, Controlling and Automation, Power Electronics, Design and Manufacturing of advanced Electrical & Electronics appliances. Our department has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty, well infra-structure and lab facilities. We are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of technical education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy to compete and work at global level. We are happy to share that many students are pursuing higher studies in leading universities. I am certain that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization.
