The department of Instrumentation Engineering was established in the year 1992. Instrumentation Engineering, being a multi-disciplinary branch, offers expertise in instrumentation, control, & automation. It primarily focuses on the principles of sensing, acquisition, and processing of physical parameters for monitoring & control of systems, leading to the design & configuration of automated systems. Industrial automation, robotics, measurements, & control are integral parts of instrumentation that play a vital role in transforming a nation into a developed one. It was established in the year 1992.At Present the Student intake per year is 40 approved by the AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to HPTSB Dari.The department has industrial-specific training equipment/machinery providing hands-on experience to the students on cutting-edge technology. The faculty is highly qualified, competent and experienced. The curriculum is revised every five years to meet the demand and need of the industry. The industrial visits and expert talks by academic and industrial experts help the students effectively understand the nature of the skills and knowledge required in the current scenario.We have excellent campus placements, offering jobs to the students at reputed firms. The overall development of the students is taken care through various extracurricular and co-curriculum activities.
